How the tracker data is verified

This site tracks one question: does an AI video generator have a free tier, and what does that free tier actually include? Every value in the tracker is read from the provider’s own pages, and anything that cannot be verified there is published as “Unknown” rather than guessed.

Where each value comes from

Each field is read from a page the provider owns: its pricing page, its documentation, its help center, or its own announcements. Third-party blogs, review sites, affiliate lists, and forum threads are not used as a source for a value. Each tool page lists the exact URLs used, the kind of page each one is, and a short quoted extract of the wording the values were read from.

A few values are labelled official (indirect). Those also come from an official page, but they are read from what that page includes or explicitly marks as not included in a plan, rather than from a sentence stating the value outright. A tool page says when this applies.

What “Unknown” means here

UNKNOWN > WRONG is the rule the data is held to. When an official page does not state a fact — a watermark policy, a maximum duration, a resolution cap, whether a card is required — the tracker shows Unknown. Unknown is not “no” and it is not “yes”. It means: not verified on an official page on the date shown. Empty cells, dashes, and question marks are not used, because a reader cannot tell them apart from lost data.

What the verified date means

Every tracker row and every tool page carries the date its values were last read on an official page, plus a freshness badge: fresh within 7 days of that date, aging from 8 to 30 days, and stale after 30 days. A verified date is a reading date. It is not a claim of hands-on product testing, and the site does not host the tools it tracks.

How changes are recorded

Tracking started on 2026-09-11. Free tiers change often, and quietly. A change is only added to the change log once it has been confirmed on the provider’s own pages, and each tool page keeps its observation history — entries are appended, never overwritten. Until a change is confirmed, the change log says so plainly instead of filling the space with rumours.

Commercial rights

What may be done with an output is governed by the provider’s own terms, not by this site. Where a provider states commercial rights for a free plan, the tracker records that statement and links to the page it came from. Where it does not, the field reads Unknown. Check the provider’s terms before relying on any output commercially.

Corrections

If an official page contradicts a value here, email [email protected] with the tool, the field, and the official link. A correction updates the value and the verified date together.
